[Bad Demoman] Tips for Playing Demo?

I've been playing the hell out of Killing Floor 2 again after being gone for several months, and as I posted here before, I usually play Firebug. Thanks to this subreddit, I'm a trash-killing machine. However, now I'm looking at the Demolitionist. After playing through different classes, namely sharpshooter, SWAT, Commando, etc, I've found that my aim is simply too bad to play as something that requires a lot of accuracy. I've already maxed out my Support and Firebug, but what is the best way to play as Demo where I can be a good team player?
