• To improve my FPS is it okay to use these settings, don't know what they mean (lol)

Kinda new to KF2, curious about team composition for playing with my friends? Posted: 27 Jul 2020 08:36 AM PDT I seem to kinda be the 6th wheel for my group of friends who picked up the game again recently. And I decided to join them. Not doing HoE or anything yet, but I was trying to figure out what perks I should focus on leveling. Is it worth having more than 1 medic? Browsing reddit it looks like you only want 1, and even then it would be better not not have one at all and just have some people pick up the medic pistol? I see commonly mentioned that having a Commando, Support, Gunslinger, and sharpshooter is a solid base, and I think between my friends they already have that covered, so what should I be looking at to determine what I should play to be the most helpful? I see that Beserker seems to cause more problems than it solves, survivalist doesn't seem that great. Firebug, and demo seem to be pretty disruptive for the sharpshooter, should I just double up on gunslinger or sharpshooter? submitted by /u/zerlure [link] [comments]

Game doesn't load to main menu. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:23 PM PDT Whenever I try to launch KF2, I get through all the logos, then the window for KF2 goes black, and the game doesn't start up. If I click the window, KF2 stops responding and crashes. Is anyone else experiencing this and has anyone found a fix for this? I'd be grateful for any advice on how to fix this. He only could begin playing it today, but there seem to be a problem with his EGS account or something, because we never see him in the ingame friends list (we can see him in the EGS friends without issue), he can't login or see any server in the browser. The only way we found to play together was to launch a dedicated server with the flag bAuthenticateClients set to False. When connected, he is shown as "Player" and not his EGS display name and his XP doesn't carry over after a game is finished. Firebug - Microwave Posted: 27 Jul 2020 03:04 AM PDT I have been playing firebug over last few days. I have got the feel of most of the weapons. But the microwave gun seem odd. Primary fire, it seems very weak, is this just because I'm normally a demo, and more used to things going boom? Thanks!! Server browser is empty and matchmaking never finds any game. How do I fix this?
