    A hopefully comprehensive list of which skills don't work with the 9mm (25th of February, 2021)

    Given one of the recent merc reports of fixing certain skills not working with some 9mm versions, I have decided to test this a couple minutes ago on the test map and the little rules are as follow:

    1. Whatever I did not put on the list is what I'm certain is working (so it doesn't bloat things); this also applies to things that are missing from listed skills, such as commando's tactical reload not mentioning the solo 9mm and berserker's spartan not mentioning the move speed (this means they work with that).
    2. If it's mentioned, it's guaranteed it doesn't work, wasn't tested or I can't tell if it makes a change. I also forgot the medic's focus injection and I ain't spending two years reopening this fucking game, but it probably works and nobody cares about buffing a pitiful damage anyway.

    Berserker

    • Skirmisher: 9mm and dual get no move speed
    • Vampire: 9mm and dual get no fire rate or heal
    • Butcher: 9mm and dual get no damage or fire rate
    • Spartan: 9mm and dual get no fire rate

    Commando

    • Tactical Reload: dual gets no reload
    • High Capacity Magazines: 9mm and dual get no mag size
    • Prepared: 9mm and dual get no ammo
    • Hollow Point Rounds: 9mm and dual get no damage
    • Eat Lead: 9mm and dual get no mag size
    • Tactician: 9mm and dual get no fire rate or reload (didn't check swap speed)
    • Machinegunner: dual gets no fire rate (didn't check 3% damage)

    Support

    • High Capacity Magazines: 9mm and dual get no mag size
    • Tactical Reload: dual gets no reload
    • Salvo: 9mm and dual get no damage
    • Barrage: 9mm and dual get no fire rate

    Field Medic

    • Combatant Doctor: 9mm and dual get no damage
    • Battle Surgeon: 9mm and dual get no damage
    • Zedative: 9mm and dual get no damage or explosion

    Demolitionist

    • Shock Trooper: dual gets no reload
    • Mad Bomber: 9mm and dual get no fire rate or reload

    Firebug

    • High Capacity Fuel Tanks: 9mm and dual get no mag size
    • Pyromaniac: 9mm and dual get no fire rate or infinite ammo
    • I'm unable to tell if the passive 20% reload speed applies.

    Gunslinger

    • It all fucking works (of course it does).
    • Skullcracker: (who knows?)

    Sharpshooter

    • Marksman: (can't really tell, a bit in doubt because it's not a revolver)
    • Tactical Reload: dual gets no reload

    SWAT

    • Tactical Movement: dual gets no move speed
    • Tactical Reload: dual gets no reload
    • Ammo Vest: 9mm and dual get no ammo
    • Cripple: (I guess?)

    Survivalist

    • I ain't fucking testing Lockdown.

    The initial DOSH a player is granted on joining a mission has also been updated. Horzine has decided to be a little more generous so that those joining late in a mission have more opportunity to provide a meaningful impact and not just another meal for a hungry Zed.

    FireBug - Big Zed Hunting

    Most of this information will only be viable for lvl 25 firebugs, because the strategies used, need to be unlocked.

    The loadout for dealing with trash and big zeds alike I rock on HoE is the Caulk'n Burn with Helios.

    Perk wise max out everything for Fire dps, and zed time to unlitmied ammo. So perks I recommend LRLLL

    Without further ado let's take a look at the take down.

    Begin by aiming the Helios at the head of skrake or FP and unload in a controlled burst, when they get close switch to flames and stumble them back, and then finish them off with Helios.

    With precise aim the big zeds is dead before they reach you, so timing your flame switch will stumble them and often save your life, repeatedly.

    Always make sure to stick with the team on HoE.

    Once you get good with this takedown you can challenge and kill many big Zeds as FireBug.

    Keep in mind you can only stumble them with flames once, so make sure to make it count.
