| Posted: 03 Oct 2020 03:00 AM PDT why are people saying it's ruined the game? they should have made it an option, i agree with that but it's really not to big a deal, if you are quick with controls you can switch to the 9mm in about .5 seconds, before this update if it was your 3rd gun in rotation it would have taken even longer than .5 seconds anyway. for many this is a change that has been wanted for years. also the time you use the 9mm the most is the starting waves, where you have time to spare and can afford the .5 second switch, but past the first couple of rounds you should have other guns or at least 1 gun and at that point the 9mm becomes a nuisance and you don't get to much more use out of it so it makes sense to get it out of rotation. in conclusion i agree it should be optional but for the people saying it has "ruined" or "destroyed the game" you guys really just need to chill, relearning something like this can be annoying but it can also be done quick, we likely won't see a change for a little bit so for the mean time please stop filling the subreddit with these rants [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 03 Oct 2020 01:15 PM PDT Is it possible to have some quality of life stuff added, I very much enjoy the game but it's little things and settings that I can't help but notice all the time and the biggest thing is the guns, what I mean by that is the attachments auto placed. For example the starting swat weapon is my favorite gun in the game because I love how it feels and the attachments on it make it look and feel amazing, I'm not suggesting attachments that change gameplay drastically like increasing or decreasing any weapon stats, just things that would make a gun more enjoyable to use like different sights. To clarify again, I'm not suggesting attachments that change any stats on the gun at all, the basic level I'm putting it at is like the ability to use a red dot or iron sights on like an the AA-12 as just an example. Is there a list or something I can use to see if the cosmetics are compatible with my character instead of seeing "compatible with most characters" only to be unable to use it with dar? I feel like it's just an artificial way to keep the boss round going longer. Unless you're a berserker or gunslinger you're not going to be able to catch up with him and cornering him sometimes works but that requires teamwork. [link] [comments] | ||
| Losing connection from a server hosted by me. Posted: 03 Oct 2020 07:39 AM PDT The title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm hosting a server from the same machine I'm using to play the game, in said server, with my friends. As if it was a listen-type server. And all of a sudden the time stops and I can wander around for a couple of minutes with everyone being still until I get the "lost connection to host" message. As soon as time "stops" for everybody on my perspective, my friends tell me that I disconnected, even though I wander around that disconnection limbo for a bit. My PC Specs are: Intel Core i7-8700K CPU OCed at 4.8Ghz 16 GB RAM DDR4 2080 Super The server is hosted on an external 1TB hard drive plugged into USB 3.0 (it crashed even when installed on an internal hdd) The game launches in an internal HDD.
