    Notes:

    Players may wish to delete their old launch logs as they may have become quite large due to excessive notifications. Logs are located in: ...Users...\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Logs

    Bug fixes included

    • Server browser filter issues have been improved (full/empty filter still may work incorrectly in certain situations)
    • EGS server browser now shows servers with correct matchmaking version only
    • EGS Server browser log spam notifications have been removed
    • EGS certain edge case server names could cause problems on client (this was the log spam origin)

    Didn't play for 2 years almost - what is the meta of gun upgrades per class (HoE)?

    As title says, I will be getting back now and I want to know what is meta for each class (especially sharpshooter and gunslinger) when it comes to what weapons to buy and upgrade and what is best Tier 4 and 5 to have. I remember that HoE Sharpshooter combo was SPX 464 Centerfire and M14 or (different perks) Railgun + SPX/revolver.

    Can't join some servers "needs to be updated to latest version of game" (STEAM VERSION)

    When Im trying to join some servers (I pick random servers) I get the message you see in the pic down below.

    Sometimes Im able to join the servers and sometimes not.

    I cannot join if the server is running custom map or its Custom server but I can't sometimes join a normal server running official map. I can see people playing on the server or even my friends playing but I can't join them neither through invite or click on Join Friend

    I deleted my Cache and KFEngine.ini, I verified my game files and my game is fully updated. It starting to get annoying because I can't tell if Im able to join the server or not.

    Bashing with your gun

    Hello,

    Sometimes clots and gorefiends (sp) get in close and I dont want to shoot them with my main gun so I bash them with my gun. However, as difficulty scales this seems to be falling off a bit.

    Can someone explain to me when (if ever) this becomes useless and if there are any variations with it?

    Do bigger weapons deal more bash damage, if yes, how much?

    Newbie looking for teams or players to play with consistently

    I just got the game from Epic a few days and i cannot really say that this is my first rodeo (i played killing floor 1 and 2 when it was free for one weekend). With the browser servers function keeps freezing my game and inconsistent matchmaking, I am looking a consistent team(s) or players that i can roll with.

    My weekly outbreak ideas

    Robot Invasion: only Edars for the whole game. The boss will be always matriarch.

    T-pose: All zeds animations are glitched and will always t-posing

    Ghost mode: All zeds are invisible (Yes even Fleshpounds) until they used their abilities or getting too close to players

    Epic Games Launcher Killing Floor 2, How to play online with your friends or with random people without creating a server.

    So, this is simple, just click the @(it can also be ~ or ç on some keyboards) key to open the game console (while in-game) then check the IP's of the servers on this site https://www.gametracker.com/search/kf2/ .

    Find one with no people in case you want to play only with your friends(people can still join in that case, just switch to a new one)then in the console type:

    open [SERVER IP] (brackets not included)

    Not all of them will work, try many, and eventually, 1 of them will work. This is in case you don't want to create a server for you and your friends or it didn't work/weren't able to,

    I've seen no one mentioning it and I felt like I could help. Reply to this post in case you need any help.

    Anyone else unable to access item servers?

    Can't access my inventory. This started a few days ago. Just wondering if it's on my end or if it's because of all the new players suddenly joining.

    Can't access the store either, though that's not exactly much of a problem for me.

    New player looking for tips

    Hey all, just got the game off the free Epic Games deal. I was initially just playing to shoot some zombies with friends, but the game is quite fun and I want to get into it more. Where can I just... read a lot about how to play? I like to approach games analytically so I'd love to find some guides that can teach me strats, guns, perks, etc. Some specifics I can think of off the top of my head are boss strats, what each type of zed does and how to effectively kill them, weapon guides (there's a lot ofbweapins and I'm very lost, I've just been buying the most expensive thing I can afford), what each class is best at and hoe to play them, etc.

    Invalid UID

    Hi guys!

    Me and some friends downloaded the game from epic this week. I've started an hamachi server and one friend of ours would join, however, the other couldn't and found the following error: "Invalid UID".(idk if it really is UID because we are playing on our local language [portuguese, it shows NIE Invalido], but after some Google time i think it is)

    I have found nothing about it on the internet, only something about "duplicated UID" from Steam.

    He already reinstalled the game and it keeps showing the same message. The host also changed several times and the "invalid UID" was still coming up.

    We would appreciate some help!

    SWAT perk third person sprint animation bugged?

    They run as if carrying a pistol when carrying an MP5 or any other submachinegun. Would be understandable if they were holding it like the Wehrmacht soldiers do in Red Orchestra 2 (palm on the top of the weapon), but they don't.

    Any plans to make them hold it properly? IDK if this is a bug but if it's a purposeful choice it looks awful, especially since in first person the SWAT holds their weapons properly when sprinting.

    How to change map in a hamachi lan party?

    Hello, I'm playing this amazing game with friends and I know how to set up everything except for map change. When I start up the server it's always default on the biotics lab and I can't change it manually from the game. Does anyone know how to change it?

    KF2 changing specimens to event skins on server?

    I know you could do it on KF1, but can't seem to find anything about being able to do so for KF2. Changing the skins for the specimens to be a different event of your choosing that is.

    Killing Floor 2 Stuck at low resolution bug

    Whenever I launch the game it defaults to 320x200 resolution. The video settings for resolution show up as blank and the game doesn't let me switch resolutions. Anyone else encountering this issue?

    I've searched online for other people experiencing this issue but all the posts were either ignored or the solutions don't work. And apparently this bug has existed since 2015, why hasn't Tripwire made a permanent fix yet?

    • Using GeForce Experience to force change settings ⁠— Does not work
    • Using NVIDIA Control Panel to set my dedicated GPU as preferred graphics processor — Does not work

    • Updating/rolling back NVIDIA drivers ⁠— Does not work
    • Updating Intel drivers ⁠— Does not work
    • Using KF2Tweaker — Does not work

    • Setting Steam Launch Settings to launch at a higher resolution — Does not work

      -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080

    • Editing Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Config\KF2Engine.ini and adding the following lines — Does not work

      ResX=1920 ResY=1080

    • Editing Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Config\KFSystemSettings.ini and changing the following lines — Does not work

      ResX=1920 ResY=1080

    • Editing C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\Config\DefaultSystemSettings.ini and adding the following lines — Does not work

      ResX=1920 ResY=1080

    • Setting the config files to Read Only after editing — Does not work

    • Deleting the config files and launching the game — Does not work

    • Verify integrity of game files — Does not work

    • Reinstalling the game — Does not work

    • Disabling integrated GPU — Fixes the resolution but game is stuck at 10fps

    • Activating in-game console (`) and typing the following — Fixes the resolution temporarily; game breaks when alt-tabbing or changing options

      Setres 1920x1080

    I've really run out of options for a permanent fix to the issue and to think that this has been a problem since 2015 and is still causing issues to this day is disappointing.

    It's very strange. I just got done playing on Support class, with several different weapon skins in effect, and now I'm trying to play SWAT class and apply the skins, but my inventory says there's nothing there, at all. I've restarted and everything, and still nothing. It's also strange, because I have the Vosh 9mm applied without having "anything" to apply it with. Has anyone else had this problem?
