| I don't like Killing Floor 2's aesthetic Posted: 30 May 2020 12:57 AM PDT Hey guys, I'd just like to discuss about the style and setting of Killing Floor 2. If any of you have played Killing Floor (OG) you will remember the setting was in the UK and all maps were dark and downright creepy at times. The ambience and music accompany this very well. Ending the round and making your way to the trader, walking through dark corridors of Offices and the empty streets of West London... gives me chills to this day. The action music are British Punk Rock, fitting the British setting which was awesome. Meanwhile in Killing Floor 2 is set in France (mostly) and doesn't do much to creep you out. The music is pretty underwhelming too, and ambience is nothing to speak of. I can't give KF2 much praise at all, I just don't like it's style. Please, tell me your opinions below. | This "update" has me pissed off Posted: 29 May 2020 04:51 PM PDT It flies in the face of what actual fans want. It's completely bullshit. As a long time fan I feel completely disrespected. What did we get? We a community map that was butchered by the same claustrophobic bullshit that we've been complaining about for years. We got some reskinned weapons, which tbf are nice, but it's obvious that so little effort was put into them. We got shitty op pistols that are way too powerful, and an actually interesting dlc weapon. Oh, yeah, they reused the kick system for skipping waves and...added healing qol. So here's the shortened list of things that took effort for this update: • Blunderbuss • Ruined a community map • Healing qol And somehow it's a pirate themed update?? Where's the changes regarding spawning complaints?? Or restricting the quarter pound spam?? (Personally think quarter pounds should have stayed in poundemonium, they're stupid and have no place with the other zeds) There's a million things that fans of kf1 have been complaining about, and they either don't give a shit or have their heads shoved so far up their asses they can't see that they're pushing away their fanbase with this bullshit. Warframe's devs show time and time again that they care, and they're literally rolling in cash. There's a video somewhere about how the head of finance intentionally crashed an in-game market because he didn't like that people were spending so much money irl to get fake things. People love them and feel good giving them money. I want to feel good for giving TWI money, but I don't. I feel scammed. They need to start listening to their fanbase while they still have any fanbase left. No, they don't know best. They have no idea what they're doing. I sincerely hope they wake the fuck up. Worth noting in the video tutorial: I have updated the sheet to have a second tab with all of the skins with the commands prefaced, so you can search for whichever skin you want and copy+paste, no need to type the command yourself. I will update the sheet to have all the guns nicely sorted tomorrow or the next day. Text tutorial: Load up any map, and open the console with either In the spreadsheet, copy the command for that gun and paste it in the console. Some guns have multiple commands, copy both of them one by one. In the first tab are all the prestige skins for the different perks' weapons. In the second tab are ALL skins. Many skins have more than 2 commands, these are the different variants of the skin. Battlescarred, fieldtested and mint. You only need to use one command from each group. [link] [comments] | ||

Even when using semi auto I seem to run out of ammo pretty quickly and it takes a fair amount of bullets to set zeds on fire. How is it good enough to justify the 2000 cost? Returned to play it, and had a blast playing through all 10 waves until a group of ghetto smoke lovers noob team mates vote kicked me. Hope they lost the boss fight, but for me, something tells me not to play the game anymore if there is such a dirty system, even if it has happened only once so far. Not willing to play another 10 waves just to be kicked out. Who ever came out with such idea for coop game where you can't ruin the game for others by your in game actions??? [link] [comments] |
