Story Telling time: The Story of the Cursed Doomstick Posted: 22 Apr 2020 08:13 AM PDT April 21, Biolapse round 10/10 Boss: Patriarch The team were composed of a Medic, Survivalist,Berserker,Support, Comando, and Gunslinger(me) The story begins on the boss round, everything was going fine, we were winning, until the support's shotgun ran out of ammo and draw The Doomstick that Doomstick he got imidiatly killed by Patriarc 'rockets. The round proceeds, everyone start to run out of ammo, the survivalist went to get the Doomstick he got immidialty killed the exact same way, the berserket, the medic, and me, did the same, and died exactly the same. The comando was left, only with the 9mm. The patriarch was at 3%, he was ablut to get the Doomstick. We all told him not to do it, that that weapon was cursed, he agreed, he went the other way as soon as the patriarch shot his rockets. took medic's railgun that got 2 shots, fired at the patriarch and killed him. If he would have went fr the Doomstick, he would have died, and lose the game for all of us. So that was the story of the Cursed Doomstick Based on a true story. [link] [comments]

Thoughts on going Bone Breaker instead of Rack 'em Up on Gunslinger for Boss Rounds? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 04:40 AM PDT I think that going for Bone Breaker instead of Rack 'em Up might actually be better for boss rounds. As crazy as it sounds due to how op Rack 'em Up is, hear me out. Rack 'em Up gives you 10% extra damage for each headshot, stacking up to 5 times. Bone Breaker gives you 20% for bodyshots and an additional 30% if you shoot for an arm or leg. This means that as long as you aim for an arm or leg you get the same bonus as Rack 'em up (30% + 20% = 50%) but without the need to stack up and constantly reapply the buff. Going Bone Breaker is obviously not ideal in normal rounds since there most all zeds are weaker to headshots when compared to limbshots, allowing you to take 'em down faster and save ammo. This is specially important when it comes to big zeds. Headshotting also has the benefit of proccing Skullcracker that imo is better than Knock 'em Down, not only at slowing down the zed but also in minimizing chaos. In general in normal rounds you also just get many more chances to stack Rack 'em Up due to there being more heads and less big threats that you can't deal with. For boss rounds, however, it isn't always the case that going for headshots is better. If the boss is the Matriarch I would argue that aiming for the arm with the 50% and disabling her laserbeam, the main reason why you would lose to her, is better. Also her EDARs are weak to bodyshots (although I've heard that in some cases you can oneshot them in the head but Idk if it's true). The Patriarch is straight up weaker to shoulder shots than headshots, on top of being way easier to hit than his small ass bobbling head. I think it's also better to go Bone Breaker against Hans, at least in Suicidal+ difficulty multiplayer. In this setting he is constantly dodging and you won't always have aggro where it becomes a lot easier to line up shots. This makes it very difficult to hit his head consistently. Even though the head is where he has the highest damage multiplier, due to how hard it is to hit and how important it is to burst him when he gets his shield, I think it's just better to go Bone Breaker and spray at his cores. Rack 'em Up is definitely better against the Abomination and King FP, they are weak to headshots and easy enough to kite, but they are generally pretty free. What are the chances you lose against these 2 because you're missing out on the extra damage from Rack 'em Up? Wouldn't you rather have the more optimal setup for the 3/5 bosses that might actually give you trouble? Ofc that if you use the command console to find out what boss you're getting or if it's an objective mode map where you know it's gonna be either one of them you should just go Rack 'em Up. Anyways, I rest my case, thanks for coming to my TED Talk. TL;DR: I think going Bone Breaker when you don't know what boss you're getting is better since it outperforms Rack 'em Up against the 3/5 bosses that will give you more trouble (Patriarch, Matriarch and Hans). Against the Patri/Matriarch it's better since they are weak to arm shots anyway and against Hans it's better since he's hard to headshot reliably in multiplayer, making it better to just shoot the cores. Against the Abomination and King FP Rack 'em Up is better but it doesn't matter since they are so easy you will probably take care of them anyway. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Apr 2020 03:53 PM PDT I know the subreddit's opinion on DLC weps and all that, but besides that I personally wouldn't mind buy all the weapon DLC if it was in the Steam Store instead of the god awful in game store. I know why it's there, but the convenience would be much appreciated [link] [comments]

What kind of maps would you like to see in the future? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 03:40 PM PDT I'd love to see one taking place in a New York skyscraper, ascending to higher levels that become unlocked as the game goes on. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Apr 2020 03:21 PM PDT I just got a 144hz monitor and wanted to test it out in KF2, but while the framerate on my desktop is 144, in game it's capped to 60. I've tried editing the configs and nothing's working. What do I need to do? [link] [comments]
How did the Zeds get to outer space on the Containment Station? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 03:16 PM PDT Did they have a Zed cloner all the way up there or did they hitch a ride? I can only imgaine Hans with his long needle nails or Kevin with his big man ham hands trying to pilot a shuttle. [link] [comments]
The auto fill price is still incorrect... Posted: 22 Apr 2020 10:20 AM PDT I've seen posts about this atleast a year ago and it still isn't fixed... When you use a perk with extra armor the price shown isn't correct. [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Apr 2020 11:44 AM PDT Hey, I've submitted a support ticket about 10 days ago under critical condition about never receiving a single vault crate since I've started playing and I have about 200 hours on the game. I'm just wondering how long does the support team take to get back to you? Getting a little nervous that I'm just not gonna get a response. [link] [comments]

Not receiving Vault Crates (Yea I know) Posted: 21 Apr 2020 04:05 PM PDT So, hello, I know it's an old time problem/bug and some of you will say that at one point I received unfair crates so the game is balancing out. But I took a print of the game log of the console to prove that I'm not receiving and actually need to receive a lot more than I earnt. So... this is the print proving that I needed to receive 12 and after doing the weekly and getting one more the game is trying to give me 13 but somehow it can't: https://imgur.com/a/hwQkg0k Does anyone have some kind of solution? Anything I could try. [link] [comments]
