    Unlocking characters in the Epic version

    I have Killing Floor 2 on Epic, but I own the first Killing Floor and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare on Steam. Can I unlock the 2 classic characters and Tom Banner or do I have to buy the game on Steam?

    I'm not really new to Killing Floor. Had a few hundred hours in KF1 and a few hundred now in KF2. A couple of prestiged perks, got some fancy outfits and I mostly understand the metas of each role (other than Survivalist because who the hell knows).

    How the hell are you supposed to finish the weekly of Up, Up, and Decay. Admittedly I only every play in PUGs but shit unless you have five demos and a maybe a medic how the shit are we supposed to break that regen?

    Rant over but for real for a casual noober like me how?

    All perks reset to 0 -- Help reverting local save files for KF2

    After reaching out to Epic Games, they told me to go into %localappdata% to find a localsavebackup for KF2 in order to restore my progress. I've identified a backup file called "localplayer" and "stats" from a week ago, which I think would help restore my account progress back to what it was but I have no idea where KF2 stats are saved. Can anyone help me with this problem? I've lost almost 2 months of in-game play time and I would be really sad if all my progress was actually gone forever. I've researched this issue on google and TONS of people are reporting having their perks reset to 0 but there's never a solution, just people bumping and seconding the issue.

    EDIT: For those with this same issue, please make sure to select whichever option is OLDER when loading from Epic Games. If your computer abruptly shuts off, your local files will become corrupt, so downloading from the cloud is going to be the best option (at least you'll load a file from earlier that day or before your issue) Don't lose 2 months worth of gameplay by accidentally overwriting your cloud save.
