    I really don't want to beat this dead horse but TWI just doesn't seem to get the memo. I started this game in mid 2017 and currently amounted over 1500+ hrs of playtime so I think I'm confident in my experience to address this matter.

    Quick question: When was the last update that we got access to some decent weapons? To me it was Halloween 2019 and that's already a huge stretch because I personally enjoyed the first wave of HRG weapons (especially the Nailgun). However as time went on, HRG weapons became the norm and as a poor excuse to pat on the shoulders of those who either CAN NOT or DO NOT WANT to shit out nearly 10 buck$$$ for a new weapon with 5 skins that are just simply Chroma packs (the Ion Thruster looks like a sex toy with them skins).

    Fast forward to 2020 and we have 2 new weapons: a Compound Bow and an Incendiary Grenade Launcher attached to an M16. Both sound interesting but which one would you prefer: a bow that requires skill to master and can totally shift the play styles of Sharpshooter OR a gun that shoots exploding molotovs for a Perk that's generally frowned upon by the community? If your answer is the latter then CONGRATULATION you can get it for free but if you want the bow then Too bad dipshit, you better give us 10 buck$$$ to earn it along with 5 custom skins that you'd only pick one.

    P/S: The Deluxe Edition of the game costs $14 in my region, let that sink in

    Now before any of you White Knights clamp on my feet and call me an "entitled gamer who wants free stuff", let me clarify that I'm NOT against the idea of paying for weapons as I (and many others) do acknowledge that TWI is in a financial pickle and we're willing to help. However, instead of being reasonable and transparent, an overpriced monetization model got introduced while promises were broken (Surv revamp anyone?) and genuinely helpful suggestions left fallen on deaf ears (i.e Numeric stats, spawning at pod when joining mid trader wave,...). Me along with many others would be willingly tossing money at TWI had they kept their promises and listened to the playerbase. Why is the game's marketplace still shit with overpriced items and predatory lootboxes? Why is the game's difficulty still so fuckin' artificial with ZED's spawning haphazardly just to mess my days up? Why are the new maps so cramped and tight with very little room for Sharpshooter (I seldom see a Sharp in Ashwood and Sani)? WHY TWI PROMISED US 2019 WOULD FOCUS ON QOL BUT THE GAME ONLY GOT WORSE? Oh and the new reworked skills aren't going to do jack shit to make them more viable, TWI is seriously out of touch with their playerbase.

    I'm not going to be that one little bitch that'll just whine for the sake of lambasting someone, instead I'm going to give some suggestions I personally think can change the game for the better, which is a fool's errand because when was the last time TWI listened to the masses.

    Skills:

    - Focus on completely inferior ones like Fortitude, Piercing Shot, Line em' Up,..... (remember how amazing Fragmentation Rounds turned into?) and consider the possibility of replacement.

    UI and QoL:

    - Give Medic, Support and Demo unique icon displays for teammate lacking health, ammo and explosives respectively

    - Numeric stat display at Trader Pod for more transparency

    Maps:

    - Please for the love of God, adapt some maps with a great sense of space (KF-Farm no?)

    Weapons and monetization:

    - Reduce the price of paid weapons and make the skins optional

    - Reduce the price of crates and increase the probability of getting cosmetics in good conditions (Field-tested to Mint)

    \Note: I'm currently not in a good mood so a lot of good suggestions have been forgotten but if you can, please let me know in the comments.*

    Medics | Don't blame me.

    I don't play a medic, but I took my gf's level 25 medic through the Weekly and I gotta say, people are horrid to their medics. I was trying to heal people and they would spam for heals while closing doors in the way, then getting angry they weren't getting heals. Some would run to the opposite side of the map from the rest of the group, spam for heals, die, then complain in chat "why weren't you healing me!?". I tried my best, but - dangit - give medics some help.

    I only ended up getting through on a high-ping server with 4 medics. Everyone was chatting and joking around, and it turned out to be easy because everyone stayed together and heals were everywhere!

    Tl:dr - Don't try to make your medic do all the work. Keep an eye out for them and they'll keep an eye out for you.

    Is there anyway to remove some visual effect like fog and darkness in general?

    I understand it's a part of this game but fog in this game is too smoky and darkness in general is bit weird when I use flashlight and without it, too dark.

    Hi! I'm new to the game (playing for 2 weeks) and I receive 20-40 cases every day. Boyfriend told me that it shouldn't be like that and he receives only 1 per day. So....is it supposed to be like that?

    Is it just me or does that compound bow sounds like a straight upgrade to crossbow?

    Firstly, there's a charge mechanic that'll make compound bow much more versatile since it can be used for both trash and bigs. Spam arrows for trash and charge for bigs.

    Secondly, Reliable freeze instead of unreliable/glitchy stun of crossbow. Plus it's explosive so most likely it'll freeze multiple zeds with single hit. Unless the ammo is super limited, this'll be extremely OP.

    Last but not the least, better self defense with the bayonet

    The only hope is that maybe it'll be fairly heavy so you can't carry high tier weapons like FAL/Railgun. But if it's 5-6 weight then RIP.

    Such a slap in the face to all of us asking for improvements to crossbow since SS launch. (and no, pouring a bunch of money via the upgrade system to make the crossbow do a bit more damage doesn't count as improvement)
