    I have killed the Matriach atleast 4 times now but only 1 have registered as a kill for seasonal objectives. On PS4, this happen to anyone else?

    Cryomaniac perk class?

    No, probably not an original idea, but I was thinking over the fact that survivalist, for some reason has a freezethrower, seemingly as an after thought because "surv doesn't have their own dedicated perk weapons" and now we've gotten rehashed spitfires that shoot ice instead.

    How about we just have a class that makes ice an actually useful thing to use (the freezethrower is a lot more useful than the HRG spitfires but no one seems to use them)

    It just seems kind of weird that they keep introducing ice weapons but with no one who specializes in using them. Surv got freezethrower because ? And gunslinger gets HRG spitfires because of what? Just because they're technically pistols you can dual wield?

    I imagine it'd be a parallel of a firebug, so I don't think it'd take much to implement a sort of "cryomaniac" perk.

    Instead of DOT, you could increase their ability to incapacitate (slowing zeds down by X % for X time) and freeze zeds. A ground fire type mechanic could be replaced by a mist type of mechanic that slows zeds, instead of damaging them over time.

    And instead of something like Napalm or ZED shrapnel, probably a perk that slows zeds if they come into contact with one that's completely frozen?

    Maybe their passive perk bonuses could be something like an armour bonus and damage resistance? (On top of the typical "perk weapon damage/reload) I'd like to say "ZED fire resistance" but there's probably a few people who would be bothered by it essentially being the same as firebug.

    A zed time perk could be similar to a medic's healing blast, but would be intended to be something along the lines of

    "ZED Time - Winter's Chill" You release an icy mist during zed time, slowing and freezing any zeds in the area.

    You know, something like that. Obviously this is very barebones, but if we're going to keep getting ice weapons, I'd like to see a class that can properly utilise them, at the least instead of pawning these weapons off to perks that don't need them.

    Anyway, if this interests anyone feel free to just throw out ideas and discuss it.

    Having Trouble matching up with the Matriarch!

    Hey guys, so I'm having a major issue with the "Maternal Instincts" challenge for the Yuletide Horror update. My issue isnt taking her out, I can do that no problem, it's that I never seem to get her as a boss. I have played over 30 matches since update dropped. Survival, Endless, Objective, you name it, and I have only gotten her twice out of those 30+ games!

    I thought of an idea to play endless mode on solo only (since I have to be the one to administer the final killshot in order for the challenge to count, which is easier said than done in a 5-6 person multiplayer match) and just keep grinding rounds until I get Matriarch as a boss. So far I have done 2 solo endless matches up to level 20, and out of those 8 total boss rounds I didnt get ONE Matriarch.

    Is anyone else having this issue? Any tips on how to knock this out? This is especially frustrating for me as this is the last challenge on my list, and I'm stressing that I wont be able to complete it in time. Any help/tips would be much appreciated!

    Best Set Ups for Perk Skills - Support

    Since I have 500+ hours and counting in-game, I'm going to make a guide on the perk skills that you will unlock from lv 5-25 for Support. This guide will cover

    -The best perk skills for Support

    -What each skill does

    -The best skills for multiplayer

    -Perk Skill Combos

    500+ Hours :)

    Support is probably the best perk in the game by popular opinion. Can easily dispose of big and small Zeds with ease. But if does have it's setbacks... Ammo, and Price. But luckily, Support has skills that can work around this.

    Perk Skills

    Here are the perk skills and what they do.

    Skill 1 Level Skill 2
    High Capacity Mags (Increase MAGAZINE capacity of perk weapons 50%): This is useful for later waves, as it allows you to handle big Zeds without having to reload-which can be dangerous. 5 - AMMO MANAGEMENT: Tactical Reload (Increase Reload Speed with perk weapons): It's kinda like Sleight of Hand in Call of Duty. This basically doubles weapon reload speeds, but you have standard mag size. (Recommended! You'll be better off dealing with a big Zed and being able to reload faster; instead of being a crack shot and reloading at a slow rate.)
    Fortitude (Increase Total Health by 50): This means you'll have 150 HP 10 - TRAINING Salvo: (Increase Damage of Perk weapons 30%): (Recommended! Cause with high damage you won't get hit... right?)
    Armor Piercing Shot (Greatly Increase Penetration): Your weapons can kill armored enemies faster AKA Rioters. 15 - FIREPOWER Tight Choke (Decrease the spread of perk weapons by 50%): This can turn the M4 Combat Shotgun into a Sniper Rifle XD (Recommended! You will do much better and more efficient damage with this on)
    Resupply Pack (Your teammates will get 30% Ammo and 20% armor restored by interacting with you AND you get 20% more ammo): You better have this on in multiplayer or it's gonna get toxic XD 20 - LOGISTICS Concussion Rounds (Increase Stumble power of perk weapons by 150%): Very good for big Shotguns like The Boom and Doomstick. AA12 also gets a wonderful boost with this.
    Zed Time - Penetrator (During Zed time, perk weapons penetrate through any target they hit): Self explanatory, good if your not using Armor Piercing Shot 25 - ADVANCED TRAINING Zed Time - Barrage (During Zed Time, perk weapons shoot in near real time): My go-to, combine that with Concussion Rounds and Zeds should start fearing you!

    Now.. my favorite part...

    Skill Combos

    Here are some good set ups, perfect for different situations

    The Flak Monkey

    They wanted to come close, but you come even closer

    • 5 - High Capacity Mag
    • 10 - Salvo
    • 15 - Armor Piercing
    • 20 - Concussion Rounds
    • 25 - Barrage (Go ahead and marry your AA12 with this setup)

    The "All Coat and no Knickers"

    B\tches*

    • All Left (It's broken... but fun)

    The Alaskan Trucker

    Dem Zeds are on a highway through Hell

    • 5 - Tactical Reload
    • 10 - Fortitude
    • 15 - Tight Choke
    • 20 - Resupply Pack
    • 25 - Barrage (This is my Go-to multiplayer loadout that I highly recommend)

    Weapons + Skill Combos

    Here are some weapons that become BEASTS when using certain skills

    1. HZ12 Multi-Action = Tight Choke + Salvo
    2. M4 Combat Shotgun = Tight Choke + Salvo
    3. HRG Buckshots = Armor Piercing + Concussion (Not affected by High Capacity Mags)
    4. AA-12 Auto Shotgun = Concussion + Armor Piercing + ZT - Barrage
    5. Boom and Doom Sticks = Salvo + Armor Piercing + Concussion

    Alright! That's it for this guide! Do you guys have any recommended custom Skill setups? I'd love to hear them?

    Before suggesting new weapons...

    DISCLAIMER: I'm not english-speaking user, potato language may be included

    I saw a lot of threads where people suggesting new weapons, but most often they don't providing additional information, such as damage, RPM, tier, other numbers, but most importantly: how much it balanced and unique, comparting with other weapons, expecially if it's a gun. And then I made a example of my vision of how people should suggest guns:

    All number rounded down, tell me if it's wrong. Machine Pistol Tier 5, 1000 dosh Perk: SWAT/Gunslinger Damage: 24 (SMG) ROF: 1000 RPM (\~16 RPS) Magazine size: 32 rounds Ammo: 640 (832 with "Ammo West" skill) + magazine size Starting ammo: magazine size + 224 Ammo cost: 28 Weight: 3 units Secondary slot Dual Machine Pistols Tier 5, 2000 dosh (1000 if the first one purchased already) ROF: 2000 RPM (\~33 RPS) Magazine size: 64 rounds Weight: 6 units Primary slot Some calculated stuff: Off-perk DPS: 792 Full ammo damage: 16128 (672) and 16896 (704) 30 damage at 25 LVL SWAT, 990 DPS (Dual) 36 damage at 25 LVL Gunslinger with "Bone Breaker" skill (50% more damage), 1188 damage per second (Dual) 30-52 damage at 25 LVL Gunslinger with "Rack 'em Up" skill (0-5 heads respectively), 990-1386 damage per second (Dual) Able to tri-shot Clot-like ZED as off-perk weapon Comparison with Tier 3 and 5 SWAT guns: Single pistol does less damage and DPS than P90, UMP, but weight less, which allows to use with M99 Dual MPs do slightly more DPS than Tier 5 Kriss (990 vs 940 at LVL 25 SWAT) Dual MPs do less damage per mag than Tier 5 P90 (1536 vs 1900 off-perk) Full ammo damage is less than Tier 5 Kriss (16896 vs 20037 off-perk), but higher than Tier 5 P90 (15200) Why you should use it for SWAT? Because of high DPS, low time to kill weak and medium ZEDs, high amount of ammo, large magazine, lower weight comparing with other SWAT Tier 5 weapons. Comparison with Tier 5 Deagle and .500 Magnum: T5 Deagle damage: 127; T5 Magnum damage: 184 Dual MPs do less DPS (792) than Dual Deagles (1153) and .500 Magnums (966) (off-perk) Full ammo damage (16896) is lower than .500 Magnums (19320), but higher than Deagles (14268) MPs doesn't have penetration Why you should use it for Gunslinger? Because it's unusual weapon for this class, just like FAL for Sharpshooter, which able to do high (but not higher than other Gunslinger weapons) DPS by high rate of fire instead of high bullet damage That's it. I compared it to the weapon that I use most often, tell me if I was wrong, but I don't think that this theoretical model of weapon should be OP or weak

    Where the hell is everyone?

    I've had this game since it came out, had it uninstalled for quite a while and just hopped back on recently.

    It's super weird to come back to this big update with new maps and guns and a new boss, but not be able to find a single match.

    I'm in the Northeastern US and I can't match with a single player in any difficulty or game mode. So where the hell is everyone? Changing servers hasn't helped, and I'm on Xbox.

    Anyone else getting a christmas ticket drop every game win?

    I know this gets asked a lot but I am wondering if something changed to the drop system recently. I just played for 100 minutes and got a ticket in every game I finished and beat the boss in (ended up being 3 short games so I got 3 tickets).

    I thought the drop rate was one ticket every 4 hours during the event (with the user playing at least 30 minutes within that 4 hour period). It seems as if maybe you get a ticket every time you win a game now? Is anyone else getting a ticket every time they beat a boss in a short time period?

    I've been away from the game for a few months, and I'm pretty sure the SWAT shield and gun were paid DLC, but shared by me when I'm in a game.

    Was this given for free to users who met a certain condition?

    I pressed the “recycle” button on supply cosmetic crate for series #1. Not sure where it went. Is there anyway to get it back, I want to buy keys and use it on that specific crate since they are on sale this week. I’m on PS4 also and it’s not under the Store section.
