This is a place where everyone in the r/KillingFloor community can answer questions that new players might have. This could be anything from advice on which class to play, what guns to buy, how to take down specific zeds, how certain perks work, etc. This thread is geared towards new players but anyone is free to ask questions and answer questions. | Any tips for HoE with Demolitionist solo? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 02:31 PM PDT Not a hardcore player of Killing Floor 2 by any means but I'm looking to beat HoE for the trophy on PS4. I'm currently level a 24 Demolitionist and haven't really touched any of the other perk classes yet. I also don't know anyone personally who owns this game so was looking for some tips and pointers as a solo player. I've heard playing Burning Paris with 4 waves is a good way to go but was wondering if I should maybe use another more useful class to make it a bit easier. Sorry if this a common question but I'm still fairly new to the game as a casual player and I don't usually play that often compared to others so any advice is welcome. TIA. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 03 Jun 2020 08:06 AM PDT So basically I used to play this quite a bit on ps4 then when I jumped back on they had this vault system, but I lost my save so I didn't have my character. Now this vault system is wanting me to earn billions of dollars for one crate, and my little brother on the other hand literally got 50 crates and is nonstop getting precious items. | Mouse/Controller "Lagging" issues Posted: 02 Jun 2020 08:40 PM PDT Idk if anyone else is having this issue or not but every time that I play Killing Floor 2 on PC I have many many issues when trying to play the game. For one when I try to go to "Option" then "Controls" to be able to click down the SHIFT key once to run it always freezes before going into controls to edit this and I end up having to kill the game in task manager. I've tried this after many many updates and it still occurs. Also I use a Xbox controller sometimes to play and at random times it will just start "Lagging" in a way, not my internet connection but the screen will start phasing in and out and it shows me moving and getting hit but I can't do anything and I'm just running while either looking at the sky or the ground and I end up dying and having to kill the game in task manager as well. I've tried going to a hard line connection as well and I still get the same issues. I think I may have to re-install the game, idk. If anyone has any other ideas, let me know. THANKS! | Does Increasing Explosive Radius Still Decrease Damage? Posted: 02 Jun 2020 06:32 PM PDT I saw somewhere that the one perk for Demolitionist that increases explosive radius also decreases damage by around 30%. Now I know that there's various ways to increase the damage back up, but I would still prefer not to lose 30% of damage. But I wanted to make a demolitionist build that focused on radius and AoE instead of just direct hits (I know, not meta). [link] [comments] | ||

| How the hell do I buy DLC weapons? I've looked everywhere Posted: 02 Jun 2020 04:11 PM PDT I know that $10 is ridiculous for one weapon but at this point, I don't care anymore. I have $10 in my steam account that I'm not doing anything with and I really want that Glock and Shield since I'm a Swat main and I think the shield's cool so fuck it But I can't find where to buy it anywhere. Naturally, the Steam store page is the first place I looked but it wasn't there. Steam's DLC store only has music packs and other characters and shit like that. There's weapon skins bundles but none of the actual weapons. I tried the in-game store but the buy button doesn't work and every time I click it, it hides ALL my items from my inventory for a while. I looked in the official Killing Floor website and still nothing. I even submitted a ticket to Tripwire support just simply asking where to find a functional buy button but got no response. At this point, just take my god damn money! I have no idea where to buy the weapon, can somebody please help? [link] [comments] |
