What content should Killing Floor 3 launch with? Posted: 01 Dec 2019 07:33 PM PST | I've been thinking about this for over a week now. What could a potential Killing Floor 3 launch with? Here are my suggestions... - At least 3 bosses, so we have a decent amount of variety. Patriarch, Hans and I guess Matriarch, or replace one of them with a new boss that is new to KF3's story like Hans was for KF2.
- At least one or two weapons for each tier and for each perk.

- I'm not sure about the game launching with this feature, but I suppose launching with it would make it easier for Tripwire to develop for future weapons rather than having to do every single weapon in the update it finally comes in. That feature is none other than a BETTER upgrade system. Include attachments like scopes for improved accuracy, bayonets for quicker and much more damaging bash attacks, underbarrel grenade launchers, masterkey shotguns, magazines with different caliber ammunition, extended/drum mags for extra mag ammunition (duh), barrel length/shape changes, Horzine's magic sciency stuff, etc. I saw screenshots of these model packs of KF2 weapons in Gmod that included various attachments and such and was like "WHY aren't these a thing?!". It'd kinda be like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019's gun customization system where with enough customizing, you can turn a weapon into different variation, like an MP5 into an MP5k for example. Don't these make sooooo much more sense to have when there's an upgrade system in the game? I don't expect weapons to have this amount of customization, just something that's more than just a damage buff and to give our weapons a more altered appearance. If controversial things from KF2 like the E.D.A.R.s are gonna return, do rework them in a way to make them simpler to kill and I guess feel more satisfying to kill, too. Like, E.D.A.R.s should be leaking oil or hydraulic fluid if their deactivated bodies are being shot at, as well as some electric sparks here and there. I don't get how they haven't programmed them to not leak blood if their corpses are being shot at. As someone who likes/doesn't mind the E.D.A.R.s (as well as the one guy who predicted their inclusion), I would like to see them retuned so they would be better received by those who hate them in KF2. Tch, I bet people like Pathfinder would still hate them regardless. But hey, you can't please everyone. Please bring back VAs to voice new lines for new additions, like reactions to new enemies, weapons and doing certain objectives. If it's too resource-costing, then may I propose a sacrifice in which surely some can understand: Cutting down on multilanguage VAs. Just have the English voices with translated subtitles. This does sound like a step backwards and kind of a slap in the face for those outside of English-speaking countries... but what else can be done to save on resources to give us lines of the Mercs reacting to post-launch content? Like, Tripwire's obviously gonna introduce things that weren't planned out from the beginning; the E.D.A.R.s, Gorefiends and certain new weapons are examples of that, so we can't expect them to have everyone's reaction to post-launch content recorded in advance. Regarding the whole Objective thing, that brings me to my next one. If Objective Mode is to be included, make it more like KF1's or something more original than that. Don't be like KF2's where it's literally the same objectives across every map... like, what're drones, data pads and data pad stations doing on an island of all places? I get the drone came from a crashed plane, but the other stuff just sitting there doesn't add up for me. Don't be shy of bringing back classic maps, Tripwire. If you insist on focusing on story, then actually DO it, don't give up during the game's lifecycle like with the Objective maps in KF2. And besides, what's wrong with having a little fun by revisiting classic areas like West London and the OG Biotics Lab? If you want, you can incorporate them into the story somehow. This might be an unpopular opinion, but maybe it's for the best that VS. Survival is left out of the game entirely. KF2's attempt at a PvP game mode is clearly a failed experiment and Tripwire has since done nothing to rebalance it. So much potential... from more playable enemies like E.D.A.R.s (the PvP version could be a combination of all 3 variants) to more playable bosses. There exists mods that made more KF2 bosses playable. The franchise was a PvE series to begin with, and perhaps that's how it should stay. Give certain cosmetics interchangeable styles. One of my biggest gripes with Killing Floor 2 is how its cosmetics are so utterly cluttered due to certain cosmetics being literally the same, just with different colours and and altered look, like the visor on a helmet being flipped up or removed entirely. Don't make them separate cosmetics, make them one complete model with interchangeable style options. I'd say this should affect coloured variants as well. If you wanna use the same model as a separate cosmetic, then make it something worthwhile, like a Gold/Bling variant. That's my list. Anything you would like to see in KF3 at launch?
